                                                                 GUIDED FISHING

GUIDED CAMPING & FISHING PACKAGE for the more dedicated angler we offer short breaks and 7 night trips organised on a camping basis. This will be a bivvy style camping trip where you get maximum time on the bank. Prices start at 65 euro´s per angler per day for this package. we supply all your tackle, bait, food whilst camping, transport, and bivvy´s. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, pillow and rig wallet. we recommend rigs of 15 to 20 lb braid and 2 oz leads.

GUIDED FISHING & ACCOMMODATION PACKAGE we offer this on a B&B basis and also a self catering option which is a cost effective solution for groups with non anglers. If you have already booked your holiday or are looking at booking a holiday in the East Algarve and just want an occasional day fishing then why not enjoy one of our guided fishing day trips.
Please note:- End tackle is not normally included so we recommend you bring your own. If this is a problem for you, let us know in advance as we can supply end tackle.

GUIDED FISHING DAY TRIPS Prices vary depending on fishing trip requested. From 150 euros per day up to 2 people and from 200 euros per day up to 4 people. 8 hrs fishing including all tackle, bait and transport. Discounts given if you book more than 1 consecutive days fishing. For 2 days 15 % discount, 3 days 30% discount. All day trips are subject to availability as guests booking accommodation or longer breaks with us take priority. Please contact us for availability.

FISHING LESSONS charged at 20 per hour including tackle. (min 4 hrs ) this is due to the time it will take to travel to the venue for lessons. Children under 14 can have lessons for 5 euros per hour when accompanied by a fully paying adult. The lessons can be in the most basic of skills, from setting up tackle, basic casting for float or feeder fishing, knots, the basics of how to bait different swims, and the more advanced techniques for set ups using rod pods and bite alarm systems.

TACKLE HIRE & BAIT
Tackle can be hired without guide at a cost of 25 euros per day per person plus a 200 euros deposit. Longer term hire can be arranged at special rates depending on length. Eg 3 days for 50 euros or 7 days for 75 euros. When hiring the tackle, advice can be given on where to fish, what methods to use and what baits work best. Baits can be purchased at extra cost.

Please note:- Closed Season

In Portugal it is from 14th of March until the 14th of May, however there are salt water related species such as big mullet and eels which can be fished for during this time. During this period it is possible to catch carp when fishing for other species, and as long as they are returned to the water quickly this should be ok.

                                                         ACCOMMODATION PACKAGES

Include transfer from Faro airport to your accomodation. No fishing on this day, a chance to unpack and relax after your journey. I will pick you up the next day at 7.30a.m to start our fishing experience. We will travel to one of our venues within an hours drive and spend the day fishing until around 6 p.m depending on season. I will then return you to your accomodation for the evening. All times are flexible so if you wish to start earlier/later that's fine. For those wishing to fish right up until dusk this can be arranged. Depending what time you fly on your final day it may be possible for us to get at least half a days fishing in, but we will leave that up to you. You will then be taken to Faro airport ready for your return flight home and hopefully you will have had a wonderful time and have caught lots of fish.

Even though our trips are aimed at the keen angler, they are open to all, including beginners and the most experienced angler alike. We also aim to provide a fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family whether everyone is fishing or not. There are plenty of things for the wife and children to do other than go fishing. Just ask my wife, as she has never got a line wet in her life.

With all packages you are required to arrange and book your own flights.

OPTION 1. TRADITIONAL PORTUGUESE EXPERIENCE B&B IN QUINTA

This is staying at a countryside apartment style hotel on a bed & breakfast basis with full use of the facilities. These include, outdoor pool, tennis court, sauna and games room. There is also wireless internet available free of charge. All rooms are equipped with sleeping for 4 people, air conditioning, TV and fire place. There is a fully equipped bar and bistro where you can enjoy a drink and a hot meal in the evening and many events taking place throughout the year, including car boot sales, bazaar's, carvery, quiz nights and much more. This hotel is located approx 20 to 30 mins from Faro airport and 15 mins from Tavira town. Everything is arranged for you, from your accommodation, fishing experience, local licenses, bait, tackle, airport transfers and packed lunches.

OPTION 2. MODERN B&B IN QUINTA/VILLA IN TAVIRA

A modern quinta/villa set in 6 acres of agricultural land with over 200 young Carob and fruit trees and panoramic views of the sea. The outside pool has both a sun terrace and shaded areas. A 5 minute drive gets you into Tavira centre and the beaches and golf courses are about a 15 minutes drive. All rooms have TV, hairdryer, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a guest dining room and terrace where breakfast is served. Choosing option 2 gives you the added bonus of being a lot closer to Tavira town, giving more access to local bars, restaurants and shops. For those in the group that are nor fishing this may be of more importance. Everything is arranged for you, from your accommodation, fishing experience, local licenses, bait, tackle, airport transfers and packed lunches.

OPTION 3. MODERN SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION IN TAVIRA REGION

This option allows you to choose and book your own accommodation and pay us simply for taking you fishing. This allows you the freedom of staying somewhere to suit your needs, be it for a large party or a party of non anglers and anglers alike. A good selection of accomodation is available from a rural villa with pool, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments on a complex with gym, pools, tennis, picnic and adventure play areas, bar and restaurant, and luxury 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.

OPTION 4. CAMPING & FISHING PACKAGE

This package includes airport transfers, accommodation for the 1st and last night of your trip, transport to and from the fishing venue, all tackle, bait, bivvy´s, bedchairs, standard chair and headlamp. all you need to bring is your sleeping bag, pillow, and rig wallet. We will supply all your food and drink whilst camping, so only the 1st and last day of your trip will you have to make your own arrangements. There will be selections of hot meals, picnic type food and snacks, as well as soft drinks, tea & coffee, beer & wine.

Please be aware that most of the lakes here in portugal are in the middle of nowhere and commercial fishing is almost unheard of here, therefore there are usually no facilities by the lakes. there are usually some within 10 minutes drive away if required.

EXTRA SERVICES

Packed lunches. ( inc fresh homemade sandwich, crisps, snack/chocolate bar and drink ). 5 euros per person per day.
Additional drinks and snacks can be purchased throughout the day.
Airport transfers to & from Faro airport. 60 euros up to 4 people
Tackle hire.

PLEASE NOTE:-Children under 14 years of age, taken on fishing trips will be the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian. For safety reasons we cannot take children under 8 yrs old on the trips.

Included bait will be 1kg of boilies, 1kg of pellets and 5kg of ground bait. Any additional baits can be purchased from us separately. There will be additional drinks and snacks available to purchase throughout the days on top of your packed lunch.
Any lost or damaged tackle will be charged at the cost of replacement
