                          IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

FIRST AID
Our guide is qualified in first aid and a basic first aid kit will be available but if any special medication is required please bring this with you and alert your guide of the situation. You will be asked to fill in a form prior to your fishing tour to warn us of potential problems.

TERRAIN
Some of the venues we visit will require short walks from the vehicles to the banks. This may not always be level terrain. Please specify on your enquiry form or at time of booking if this is likely to cause you a problem.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is your responsibility to obtain travel insurance that covers sporting activities and medical care as we can accept no responsibility for any accidents or injuries resulting from the fishing trips. For this reason we cannot take children under 8 years of age. Children over 8 years of age remain the full and sole responsibility of the parent or guardian accompanying them whether they are fishing or not.

SUITABLE CLOTHING/FOOTWEAR
The terrain could be sloping or uneven, so suitable clothing and footwear must be worn. It is the responsibility of the client to bring such items with them. We recommend ankle high type walking boots, however good trainers will be adequate in the summer months. It is also advisable for the summer to bring a few T shirts, shorts or ¾ length trousers and a hat. You will also need insect repellant and a good suncream.
In the winter months it can be warm during the day but does tend to get cool in the early evening and can be cold at night. We would advise an extra light jumper and long trousers for the day and a heavier jumper or coat for th evenings. A light waterproof jacket is advisable for all times, but especially during the winter.

OVERNIGHT CAMPING
Although there is no night fishing allowed in Portugal there are places we can stay overnight and fish till dark, have a BBQ, camp out at the side of the lake and fish at first light. If you are likely to want to camp overnight at any of the venues you must bring with you a suitable sleeping bag and clothing. Advance warning is required for this option, however there is no additional charge.
